Applications are being received in the official Hajj scheme. Sources say that till March 22, more than 26 thousand applications were received in the banks.

Sources said that the number of applicants seeking dollars from abroad under the sponsorship scheme has increased to more than 2,000.

Further instructions have been issued to banks to facilitate the feedback of Haj applicants. Overseas Pakistanis can also submit a medical fitness certificate issued from abroad in the bank. In case of difficulty submit a plain page affidavit in the bank that you are healthy.

On returning to Pakistan, before the Hajj flight, a medical fitness certificate from Pakistan will be made and submitted to the bank.

Applicants can submit the application after receiving the first dose of the approved vaccine. The certificate has to be submitted to the bank after applying the full dose before departure.

Apart from NADRA, foreign vaccine certificate will also be accepted. Designated banks will also receive Hajj applications on March 25 and 26.

It is not necessary for the person sending the sponsorship to have a blood relationship with the Hajj pilgrim, it is necessary to send the Hajj pilgrim's name, identity card, contact number along with the money.

Easy account limit has been increased from 10 lakhs to 15 lakhs for convenience. Pilgrims have to purchase the Qurbani coupon themselves in Saudi Arabia.

Pakistan Hajj Mission will guide in Saudi Arabia to buy Qurbani coupons. The amount of the sacrifice coupon can be 700 to 1 thousand Rials.

  Regular scheme overseas applicants submit Hajj applications through nominated persons in Pakistan.

In order to receive the possible savings in the package, it will be necessary to open a bank account after reaching Pakistan.

Hajj applications will be processed through designated banks only.
