Earthquake in different parts of the country, 5 people died, and dozens injured

Earthquake tremors of magnitude 6.8 were felt in different parts of the country including Islamabad, Lahore, and Peshawar. 5 people died in different incidents.


According to the Seismological Center, the epicenter of the earthquake was Afghanistan while the depth was recorded at 180 km.


A person was brought to the Polyclinic Hospital after suffering a heart attack during the earthquake in Sector G7 of Islamabad, where he died.


A 13-year-old girl died after a house wall collapsed in the Madin area of Swat.

One person was killed and 2 people were injured when the roof of a house collapsed in Shamuzai. 50 injured were brought to Saidu Sharif hospital.


In Lower Dir, 2 people including a woman were killed due to the collapse of walls due to the earthquake and the stampede, while 43 people were injured in various accidents.


In Rawalpindi, due to the strong tremors of the earthquake, several buildings suffered cracks, in the well-known commercial center Commercial Market, several buildings also suffered cracks, in Gujjar Khan, a car was damaged due to the collapse of a divad.


A woman died and several people were injured in the incidents of wall collapse and stampede in different cities.


According to hospital sources, the wall of the house collapsed due to the earthquake in the Dheri area of Lower Dir, under which the woman died.


32 people injured in the earthquake in Saidu Sharif were brought to the hospital. According to the hospital administration, the condition of the injured is out of danger.


7 injured have been brought to the district headquarters hospital Timargarh. Police say that most of the people fell down and got injured during the stampede during the earthquake.


Due to the earthquake, the Bahrain road was blocked due to a landslide on the Kirkundi Bridge near Kalam. Due to the earthquake, the roof of a room near Jamrud Pump House collapsed.
